Description
The Ansonia is the grand dame of pre-war residential buildings and is located in the Upper West Side on 73th Street and Broadway. This Beaux-Arts style building was originally built as a hotel in 1904 and was the most technoligically advanced building of its time. It was converted into condominiums in 1992. The interiors of the building feature wide hallways, high ceilings, elegant moldings and the most impressive staircase one would only expect to see in an old movie.
