The advantage of buying a new development is you get a brand new property which will have full service amenities. Our buyer clients will book at pre-construction stage, wait for completion and pay the balance at closing. New developments, while priced at a premium to resales, also command premium rents.
We have guided clients from all over the world with regards to booking at the best pre-construction developments. Negotiations with a new development differs from negotiating a resale, and it’s very important to understand the finer points. Also, I always explain downsides to clients. For example, amenities are often not completed at time of closing etc. There are pros and cons of new developments, which we explain to each buyer client.
